Moorland Heating successfully completed another project involving Plumbing and a Boiler Installation in Stoke, Plymouth. This work included plumbing for a kitchen renovation, a cloakroom, and a utility room, replacing and repositioning a hot water cylinder, and installing a new, efficient boiler.
The Challenge
We were approached by a customer who was renovating their kitchen, which included adding a utility area and a cloakroom, along with other building work. They wanted help to improve their heating system to make it more reliable and efficient.
The existing heating system had separate boilers on each floor, along with an old, unvented hot water cylinder. This dated system frequently let the customer down and had left them with expensive repair bills.
The Solution
After a lengthy discussion with the customer, we decided to consolidate both heating systems to operate from one new, larger Worcester 8000 System Boiler. We replaced and repositioned the unvented cylinder with a larger Gledhill Thermal Store Cylinder, which allowed for the addition of a solid fuel wood burner as an alternative hot water source. As part of this Plumbing and Boiler Installation project in Stoke, we also added plumbing for a new cloakroom and utility area, as well as for the kitchen renovation.
The Results
The customers were thrilled with the outcome of the Plumbing and Boiler Installation project and the quality of the completed work. They were also relieved to hear about the positive impact this upgrade will have on their energy bills.
