Why Is a Regular Service Important?
Regular servicing is important, both to make sure that your heating and hot water system is running efficiently and to keep yourself and your household members safe from harm.
The last thing you need – especially in the cold winter months – is to be left with no heating or hot water. With the economy in turmoil at present, and fuel bills rising, you need to be certain that your boiler is working to its optimum efficiency. This not only means making sure that you are not wasting energy (which is bad for the environment too) but allows you to keep energy costs down. A boiler which is not working to its full capacity has to work much harder to produce the energy it requires to heat the water, which in turn, costs you more money!
When using any household gas appliance, there is always a danger of carbon monoxide leaking into the atmosphere if the appliance hasn’t been maintained correctly. Carbon monoxide is an extremely poisonous, odourless, and colourless gas. We strongly recommend the installation of carbon monoxide detectors in your house, which should be tested regularly. These will alert you immediately should there be an issue.
